Q. How can I contact the Club officers?

A. Visit the “Contact Us” link at the top of the page and click on the email link for the Club officer you wish to contact. Contact Us

Q. How can I obtain a copy of the Club’s Constitution and By-Laws?

A. There are two ways to obtain copies of the Club’s Constitution & By-Laws:
1. Log-in to the members’ only area and click on the Members Only pull-down menu. Click on the tab for the document you wish to download.
2. Contact the Club Secretary: secretary@mtwashingtonrg.org

Q. Do I have to purchase an AGC Range Badge in order to join Mt. Washington?

A. No, an AGC range badge is only required if you wish to use the AGC Ranges in Marriottsville.

Q. If I do not own an AGC Range Badge, may I shoot on the AGC Trap Range as part of “public trap?”

A. Yes. However, unless you have an AGC Range Badge, you will be charged $6 per round of trap. AGC Range Badge holders pay a reduced rate of $4 per round.

Q. How do I obtain an AGC Range Badge?

A. You must present your proof of Club membership and a Range Orientation & Training Certificate to the AGC and pay the badge fee.
1. Your email receipt you received when you paid your Club dues is proof of membership. We no longer issue membership cards.

Q. How do I use the RSVP system on the calendar?

A. There are several steps:

Click on the event link on the Home Page; or to see all of our meetings and events, open the Club Calendar of Events.
Select the meeting or event and click on it to open it.
Click on the plus or minus tabs in the RSVP section and set the number to “1”. Please do not set the counter number to anything other than “1”.
Fill in your name and email address, or your guest’s name and email address as appropriate. If the RSVP is for your guest, put your last name in parenthesis after your guest’s name. Do a separate RSVP for each person attending (this creates a targeted mailing list for the Event Director if last minute communications need to be sent to those involved).
Click on the “Confirm RSVP” tab and you have completed the process. Please give the system a change to process your request.
The system will acknowledge your RSVP and send a confirming email to each person’s email address you input.

Q. What is an Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI) and why do I need one?

A. An Empty Chamber Indicator or “ECI” (sometimes referred to as an Open Bolt Indicator or “OBI”) is a plastic device which is inserted into the chamber of a firearm to clearly indicate that the firearm is not loaded and the bolt is open. These devices are required under AGC’s Range Rules. They are available for a nominal cost at our Club meetings.

Q. Where can I purchase a Club logo Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI)?

A. Empty Chamber Indicators or “ECI” are available from the Treasurer before and after Club meetings. They are available in three sizes (pistol, rifle and X-Large Rifle .30 caliber and above) for the bargain price of $1.50 each. You can pay in advance via credit card by visiting the Club Store.

Q. Who do I contact if I have lost my Mt. Washington membership card?

A. The Club is no longer issuing membership cards. The new membership payment system sends an email confirming that you have paid your annual dues and are a member in good standing. It is YOUR responsibility to keep this email. Replacement email confirming membership can be requested by contacting the webmaster. Allow 8-10 days for processing of your request.

Q. How do I find my Club member number?

A. The Club is no longer using member numbers as they served no useful purpose. The member number data field in member profiles has been replace with a member’s “Occupation” data field. This field must be updated by the member before a membership renewal can be purchased.
